The Quarterly meeting for the DBI Board of Directors will be held on
Saturday, 15 March 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (MDT)
in the Ganado Chapter House, Ganado, Navajo Nation.
 

       The main items on the agenda include:

1.    Nominations for and election of a Vice President.

2.    Review of DBI Bylaws regarding Board member attendance at meetings.

3.    Developing a documentary about DBI and Sheep is Life.

4.    Establishing a wool processing facility in the Navajo Nation.

5.    Report on the current status of the 2008 Sheep is Life Celebration planning and decisions about how to carry out those plans.  Soliciting volunteers to help with the Celebration.

6.    Development of marketing plans:  

      a) Soldier’s Hollow Classic in Park City, UT, 29 Aug. – 1 Sept. 2008
            (Labor  Day weekend)

 

      b) Navajo-Churro Sheep Association in Monticello, UT, 9-11 October 2008.

 

      c) long-term national and international marketing strategies, i
          including web site sales
